Greg Stobbs is an illustrator and artist from the south-east UK. Consciously separating himself in to two personalities he works under his own name for illustration and under the name Squirl for large scale painted works. Greg has become increasingly interested in the relationship the trees have with one another, and the very individual characters that they each have. Paying close attention to how each colour reacts and responds to those around it, and how each shape either sits naturally with another or jars slightly with its neighbours.

Art is quite elitist in some respects. So have the public actually see this type of work, see it being made and understand, be able to converse with different artists, then you’re actually passing this art-form out to everybody.
